Hunter is a lifetime Lower Columbia resident and fisherman. As a licensed Columbia River fishing guide and charter owner, Hunter specializes in sturgeon, crab, and salmon fishing. Ever since he was a little boy fishing with his father and the "Wilson Boys' Guide Service," he dreamed of becoming a fishing guide. In 2024, that dream became a reality.

STURGEON

The sturgeon is one of the largest freshwater fish on the map. With their extremely tough pull and their tendency to fly out of the water when hooked, sturgeon fishing is sure to impress any angler. These dinosaurs can grow to be quite large, with some species' lengths up to 18 feet and weights of over 1,500 pounds. They are also known for living over 100 years. Talk about a fish story!
